A massive Iron Mum thank you to all our helpers and supporters!
Three of us pull this event together. We are all working mums and we have no committee, so we are spread pretty thin! Any help you can offer marshalling, helping out at the fun day or by sourcing raffle prizes would be very welcome!
This is a community event, noone is paid and any money raised goes back into making Iron Mum sustainable. When we can we make donations to local charities and organisations. In the past two years we have donated over £540 to Little Apples, WI Lite and the National Childbirth Trust. We can only make Iron Mum work with the generosity of our helpers and supporters, particularly those who help week after week with training. Thank you.
Carol Bartlett and the Holistic Therapy team are pleased to be supporting Bramley Iron Mum again this year. We will be on site to provide competitors to a post event massage recovery treatment. Founded by Carol, the Holistic Therapy team based in Basingstoke is a team of 9 experienced therapists work together offering a broad range of therapies to ensure you get the treatment needed for you. From postural assessment with the Biomechanics coach to unwinding with a facial, reflexology, Counselling, Aromatherapy, Swedish Massage or Indian Head massage. If that sounds too much like a pampering then their team of sports therapists can help you deal with specific injury prevention or rehabilitation to improve your athletic performance. For more information visit www.theholistictherapyteam.com.
DrumRunners will be playing their motivating rhythms at the finish line to help Iron Mums blast around the course.
